Our adventure through the stunning landscapes of Sumatra continues, and today was a day of transitions and anticipation as we left Sipirok for the enchanting destination of Bukittinggi. This leg of our journey promised waterfalls, equator crossings, long drives, and the comfort of our new abode, the Grand Rocky Hotel.

After a quick change, we set out to explore the city in the evening, soaking in its unique charm and sampling some local cuisine.
